Phrontier - PHORTE
Fibre optic extenders enable the transmission of CoaXPress imaging data over long distances that cannot be reached with conventional copper cables. While copper cables are usually limited to distances of less than 50 meters, the Phrontier PHORTE fibre optic extenders are able to transmit CoaXPress image data up to several kilometers without significant signal loss. Phrontier fibre extenders guarantee secure transmission of image data with minimum signal loss at maximum data rate. A wide range of models support full scalability for different applications.

- Power: PoCXP capability allows the module to supply power to camera and receive power from frame grabber.
- Standard: DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors
- Fibre Duplex LC-connection
- Multimode fibre version up to 300 m
- Distance: extends up to 80 km over single-mode fibre
- Miscellaneous: optional AUX channels for additional RS232/RS422/GPIO devices (4 channel model)
- 1 ,2, 4-channel fibre extender models available (PHT1, PHT2, PHT4)
- Transparent operation – plug and play with no configuration required
