Phrontier PHORTE PHE4Q & PHE4S Series

Especially CXP-12 Fibre optic extenders enable the transmission of CoaXPress imaging data over long distances that cannot be reached with conventional copper cables. While copper cables are usually limited to distances of less than 30 meters, the Phrontier PHORTE CXP-12 fibre optic extenders are able to transmit CoaXPress image data up to 10l kilometers without significant signal loss. Phrontier fibre CXP-12 extenders guarantee secure transmission of image data with minimum signal loss at maximum data rate. A wide range of models support full scalability for different applications.

  • Power: PoCXP capability allows the module to supply power to camera and receive power from frame grabber.
  • Standard micro-BNC connector for CXP interface
  • Versions based on QSFP+ module and also with MPO fiber connector or SFP+ module with LC duplex fiber connector
  • Multimode fibre version for CXP-12 up to 400 m (with OM4 fibre cables)
  • Distance: extends up to 10 km over single mode fiber
  • 4-channel fibre extender models available for QSFP+ or SFP+
  • Transparent operation – plug and play with no configuration required
