Your objects can be shiny, reflective, cylindrical, very dark or all of the above: Zivid 2+ features artefact reduction technology and 3D high dynamic range (HDR) imaging to let you see the whole scene in a single 3D colour point cloud.

See everything, including transparency

The Zivid 2+ can "see everything” that is presented to it in a piece picking scenario. This includes transparent plastics such as bottles, polybags, shrink wrap and bubble wrap, making it ideal for piece picking, parcel handling and bin picking applications.

3D colour with white LED projector

You can output colour images, giving you the advantage of being able to segment your data based on colour information. In addition, the data acquisition time is independent of the object colours. For example, where a red laser on a blue object requires huge integration times, the Zivid 2+ white LED projector's integration time is independent of the colour of your objects.

Unrivalled accuracy

Dimensional trueness has an error of less than 0.2% (mean) and less than 0.1% (standard deviation). These values can be improved with Zivid's in-field calibration. This means that even the most demanding pick and place or random bin picking applications can be solved with Zivid 2+.

High speed for quick picking

In most picking applications, the return on investment is directly related to the cycle time of the vision system. Zivid has reduced the cycle time to less than 100 ms, significantly improving the efficiency of your robot.

High-performance industrial 3D

Emergent AI techniques are fundamentally changing the world of automation by training AI on 3D data in addition to 2D data. Zivid 2+ makes this a reality by providing RGB data, 3D data, surface normals, depth map, and SNR with one-to-one pixel correspondence - all captured in the same acquisition.
